Peter Ferritto is the owner and inspirational leader of Abbey Road Salon. His career started 33 years ago in London where he trained with Leno D' Aprano, one of the founders of the Fellowship of Hair Artists of Great Britain.
When his training ended in 1974, he joined the illustrious hair styling team at Harrods, a department store frequented by the fashion mavens of Europe. During his stint at Harrods, he won first place in the Clynol Cup. And one year later a certificate of merit of the L'Oreal Color Trophy.
In 1976 Peter opened Sunset Boulevard, a venture which once more thrust him into the hairstyling limelight when he was highly placed in the Gold Trophy. Not content to sit on his laurels, he founded the London Styling Team in 1977 with which he traveled and demonstrated his art before his peers.
A decision to seek a different ambience brought him to the United States in 1982, where he joined Royal Hair Force, Inc. During the next 21 years with this company, he attained the positions of Manager, Trainer and Style Director.
Peter then created Abbey Road Salon in 2003.
